The Inner North East London Joint Health Overview and Scrutiny Committee
The Inner North East London Joint Health Overview and Scrutiny Committee (INEL JHOSC)
Newham Council is represented on the Inner North East London Joint Health Overview and Scrutiny Committee (INEL JHOSC), a collaborative body established to review regional and sub-regional NHS service developments that affect local health services.
The committee is made up of delegated scrutiny councillors from six local authorities:
- City of London Corporation
- London Borough of Hackney
- London Borough of Newham
- London Borough of Tower Hamlets
- London Borough of Waltham Forest
- London Borough of Redbridge (observer status)
In 2025/26, the City of London Corporation will host the joint meetings, taking over from Waltham Forest, which hosted during the previous municipal year.
