Renewing your Blue Badge
Please make sure you renew your Blue Badge at least four weeks before it expires. You must provide all necessary documentation so that you can renew your Blue Badge in time.

If your details change, you must inform us of these and provide proof e.g. Change of address
Replace a lost, stolen or damaged Blue Badge
If a Blue Badge has been lost, stolen or damaged, you are able to request a replacement. You are able to request it for yourself or someone else.
A replacement badge is valid until the expiry date of the original badge. There may be a charge for replacing a badge. Previous Blue Badges will be cancelled.
If your badge is due to expire in less than 3 months, you need to renew instead.
Apply to replace a lost, stolen or damaged Blue Badge
To replace the Blue Badge you’ll need:
- Your personal details
- Your National Insurance number (if you have one)
- The existing badge number (if you know it)
- A crime reference number if the badge has been stolen
Blue Badges remain the property of the council. Previous Blue Badges, such as if a lost Blue Badge was found, should be returned to the council to be destroyed.
