Micro commisioning scheme

Culture Within Newham’s Micro-Commissioning scheme aims to support exciting creative activities to be delivered in February and March 2025 and you can apply for up to £1,000! 

They are offering 2 types of commissions:

  • £500 for those looking to enhance an existing project and this is called ‘Boost Commissions’
  • £1,000 for those looking to start a new fresh and creative idea called, ‘Seed Commissions’

These projects ideas (existing and non-existing) can be anything related to culture such as dance programmes, embroidery clubs, traditional cooking sessions, planting club, cultural events and more!

The good thing is you can make multiple applications as residents and one application as a group.

The deadline for this funding is 16 December 2024.

If you aren’t sure yet or need further support in applying then please come along to their funding workshop taking place on Wednesday 4 December 2024 from 6pm to 7.30pm at Jack Cornwell Community Centre, E12 5NN.

Realising the remarkable image banner

Business Grants

Following the success of Realising the Remarkable in 2023, Enterprise Nation and VistaPrint have once again partnered to offer £60,000 cash grants to 20 small businesses. The support includes:

  • Grants of £3,000 each
  • 12-month subscription to VistaCreate Pro
  • £500 in website credits
  • access to 99designs by Vista silver logo.

Growth fund thumbnail

East Wick + Sweetwater has committed to provide £50k a year to support the Growth Fund over ten years. Co-investment of further funds will be sought to enhance the social and economic impact of the Growth Fund. 

The Growth Fund actively encourages applications from small businesses and social enterprises run by groups or people that are underrepresented or from disadvantaged backgrounds. Contact us to find out more
