East End Community Foundation

The East End Community Foundation (EECF) is managing a grant on behalf of SWEF for young entrepreneurs aged 18-30. Residents of Newham, or those who have a business in Newham, can apply for a start-up grant of up to £500 and business grants of up to £2,000.

Stelios Awards for Young Entrepreneurs

Start-ups and entrepreneurs under 34, who have their business registered at Companies House with at least £200,000 annual revenue are encouraged to make an application. Applicant must be a director and own shares of over 50%. With three prize levels up for grabs ranging from £150k- £50k. 

Applications are currently open and will close at 5 PM on Friday 28 March.

Investment Readiness Programme for Under-Represented Founders

The Investment Readiness Programme, a six-week initiative, aids London-based pre-seed and seed-stage businesses, funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund and the Mayor of London.

Growth fund thumbnail

East Wick + Sweetwater has committed to provide £50k a year to support the Growth Fund over ten years. Co-investment of further funds will be sought to enhance the social and economic impact of the Growth Fund. 

The Growth Fund actively encourages applications from small businesses and social enterprises run by groups or people that are underrepresented or from disadvantaged backgrounds. Contact us to find out more
