Cabinet report
The Cabinet Member for Environment and Sustainable Transport introduced a report which sought approval to introduce a 20mph speed limit or zone on all roads within the London Borough of Newham, except for the A1020 Lower Lea Crossing, including a review of the existing 20mph zones. The proposal aimed to reduce road danger, reduce traffic noise, and further enable and encourage active travel modes such as walking and cycling.
