Phase 2 Traffic Order Notice
Phase 2 of the 20mph programme consists of streets to the south of Romford Road and north of Barking Road. To reduce the speed limit on streets in Phase 2 we need to prepare a Traffic Order.
A Traffic Order is a legal document which provides detailed information about our plans, including a list of the streets where the speed limit will be reduced to 20mph. It also provides an opportunity for the public to formally comment or object to any changes we are proposing.
The Public Notice for the Traffic Order can be found here (PDF). Streets proposed to become 20mph are listed on the second page of the public notice.
Any objections or other representations relating to the proposed Order must be made in writing and received by 27 March 2024. They can be sent by email to: traffic.orders@newham.gov.uk.
