Green and Garden Waste Collections
Starting 1st of March 2025, Newham will introduce charges for green and garden waste collections. Residents can now subscribe to the service, with collections commencing on the 1st of March. Options include a subscription service for regular collections or pay-per-collection as needed.

Christmas tree collections
If you have a real Christmas tree, please don’t put it in your household waste or recycling bins.
You can book a free Christmas tree collection from 23 December to 11 January by clicking here. Make sure you book a slot by 11 January and ensure that the tree is completely free of decorations, tinsel and lights.
