Report the death of someone with a learning disability or an autistic person
Newham Council takes part in a national NHS-funded programme called the 'Learning Disabilities Mortality Review' (LeDeR), which is looking into deaths across the UK.
People with learning disabilities in the UK are 4 times more likely to die of preventable causes compared with the rest of the population.
We want to make sure autistic people and people with learning disabilities get:
- the right care in the right place
- the right support,
- reduce health inequalities
How you can help
If you know someone over 18 years old with learning disabilities or was autistic in Newham who has recently died, please report the details using the link below.
