Getting a diagnosis
The Newham Adults Autism Diagnostic Service offers diagnosis, advice and signposting to adults living in Newham who have not had a previous diagnosis of Autism.
They are now accepting self-referrals.
If you think you might be autistic and would like a formal diagnosis, please complete the referral form and email this to elft.NewhamAutismDiagnosticService@nhs.net
To be considered for this service, referrals must meet the following criteria:
- 18 years and over
- Living in Newham
- No existing diagnosis of Autism; including formerly used diagnostic terminology, e.g. Asperger’s Syndrome, High Functioning Autism, Atypical Autism
- Patient consents to referral
