To summarise the purpose of the Policy in simple terms: Policy sets out the rules about how the repair and maintenance service is delivered. Policy is normally backed up by a set of Procedures, which are step-by-step instructions for our staff on how to follow those rules.

Policies and Procedures aim to reduce risk, boost efficiency and ensure safe practice. Also, to ensure that everyone in the repair’s team are on the same page and understands what is expected of them, resulting in a consistent high-quality service for our residents.
