Emergency Repairs

Sometimes repairs are needed outside office hours. If a repair is very urgent and cannot wait until the next working day, for example if it is a danger to health, safety, or security, call the repairs emergency line on 0203 373 5500.

We may carry out a temporary repair first and then complete the full repair during normal working hours.

What counts as an emergency?

• Severe water leaks if water cannot be turned off or contained
• Water leaks affecting electrics or another property
• Dirty water backing up from plug holes, toilets, or drains
• Broken glass that could harm anyone
• Insecure home if doors or windows cannot be secured
• Total loss of electricity
• Unsafe electrical fittings that are sparking, smoking, or have bare wiring
• No cold, clean drinking water
• No central heating during the winter months
• Being trapped in a lift
