Learning Disability Action Plan for Adults 2025-26

Newham launched its first Learning Disability Action Plan in 2022. Every year we will update this.

Here are reports with this year’s priorities:

Year 3 Priorities (Easy Read) and Year 3 Priorities (Full Report)

The Action plan has 6 outcomes and “I” statements to keep residents with a Learning Disability at the heart of everything we do.

The Outcomes

1 – Heard and Valued

  • “I am treated with dignity and respect.
  • I can access information and advice when I need it to help me understand my options and make informed decisions.
  • I am helped to make my voice heard about things that affect my life.”
