Missed rubbish and recycling collections
If you put your rubbish or recycling out by 6am on the day of your collection but we do not collect it, report it to us.
Before you report a missed collection

Please check your collection date - this may change after a bank holiday

Make sure your bin was presented by 6am at the edge of your property, for example next to your gate or at the end of your drive and not on the pavement, as your bin should not obstruct pedestrians.

Check your bin doesn’t contain black sacks. Your recycling bin may not be collected if it contains non-recyclable items.

Wait until after 10pm to report a missed collection even if we normally collect your recycling earlier in the day - our teams are out collecting until 10pm

Report the missed collection within 24 hours.
