Project Description:
This space and the adjacent areas of Crescent Road and Park Road have been designed around the idea of a flexible town square that can be used for public celebrations during festivals, while serving functional uses on a day-to-day basis.
The reconfiguration of car parking will create additional public space for tree planting, seating and bike racks. The pedestrian area between Green Street and Crescent Street will also be made more attractive with new paving and street furniture.
