Community Safety patrolling to tackle anti-social behaviour issues during period of Autumn nights including Halloween and Fireworks Nights.

Newham Council’s Community Safety Enforcement Officers are patrolling the borough later into the night from today (Friday 28 October) to tackle anti-social behaviour such as the misuse of fireworks .

We know that traditionally at this time of year there can be an increase in anti-social behaviour, including the misuse of fireworks.

Our Community Safety Enforcement Officers are out and about across the borough paying particular attention to anti-social behaviour related issues and bonfire and firework issues.

During this time our officers work different shift patterns to provide reassurance to residents. Officers will be patrolling between 1.30pm and 11pm from today until 6 November.
