Flooding incident in the Hallsville Quarter area of Canning Town: Advice for residents affected

Newham Council is aware of an ongoing serious flooding incident in the Hallsville Quarter area of Canning Town.

The flooding is affecting the basements of three privately managed tower blocks – operated by First Port Property Management Services – the managing agents for all of Hallsville Quarter. A number of businesses in the area have also been affected. The properties affected are without power and water.

Council officers are at Hallsville Quarter, assisting the managing agents.

Residents should contact the managing agents on 0333 321 4080.

The Council will continue to monitor the situation closely and provide further assistance if required.

We have set up an interim Rest Centre to support those residents who require immediate assistance and staff on site are directing residents to the Rest Centre.
