Newham Council is advising residents to check out the road closures taking place as part of Ride London on Sunday 26 May.
As there will be closures on many Newham roads – with some closures taking place from 4am on Sunday 26 May to 7.30pm the same day, disruption to travel is likely.

Parking prohibited along Ride London route
The Council also advise that you should not park along the route all day on Sunday 26 May, otherwise your vehicle will be removed.
What is Ride London?
RideLondon, the festival of cycling, takes place from Friday 24 to Sunday 26 May 2024 across London.
On Sunday 26 May, more than 100 miles of road closures will be in place throughout the day – significantly impacting central and East London.
Around 25,000 riders will start in central London, travel to and from Essex through Tower Hamlets, Newham, Hackney, Redbridge and Waltham Forest before returning to the capital for a spectacular finish at Tower Bridge.
