CB

Following a rigorous recruitment process, Caroline Boswell has been appointed to champion Newham’s education system.

This will help ensure children can have the highest ambitions and access to the best opportunities.

Caroline brings a wealth of experience to the role, including years spent as the Senior lead for the Mayor of London on the development and implementation of policy, strategy and programmes in relation to education and youth.

The newly created role will help bring an independent voice to lead the interface between the Education Board, school leaders, the Council’s political leaders and wider partners. Caroline will work closely across the system and act as a true advocate for spreading educational excellence across our education system in Newham.

Caroline comments, “I’m pleased to be joining Newham at such an exciting time. The passion, dedication and drive across the education landscape is clear to see and I’m looking forward to helping build upon the great work delivered to date. I hope to bring something different to the table, drawing upon my experience to help build a collaborative approach and advocate for excellence across the borough.”
