Appoint someone you trust to vote for you

Your proxy must be registered to vote and they cannot vote on behalf of more than two people unless they are closely related to them.

To appoint a proxy for the Parliamentary election, Forest Gate North and Maryland by-election on Thursday 4 July, you must return the completed application to us by 5pm, Wednesday 26 June 2024.

Should your Proxy wish to vote by post, they will need to contact the Council Office on 020 8430 2000 for a postal proxy application form, this will need to be submitted by no later 5pm, Wednesday 19 June 2024.

To appoint a proxy for the Beckton ward by-election on Thursday 18 July, you must return the completed application to us by 5pm, Wednesday 3 July 2024.

Should your Proxy wish to vote by post, they will need to contact the Council Office on 020 8430 2000 for a postal proxy application form, this will need to be submitted by no later 5pm, Wednesday 26 June 2024.
