We offer a range of grants and funds to support community projects for residents in Newham
Newham’s Volunteers Programme is a Newham Council initiative which started in 2004. It is open to everyone from 16+ onwards, working professionals, retired, students, young people, those with disability, refugees and asylum seekers. Annually, we have around 500 active volunteers, giving up an average of 20,000+ hours of volunteering per year, in over 300 different opportunities.
There are community centres all over Newham, they offer a range of activities to get involved in, as well rooms and halls you can hire for your own events, meetings and private parties.
