The Lyle’s Local Fund, has been set up by Tate & Lyle Sugars, and administered in partnership with the London Borough of Newham, to support projects that help to create local communities in Newham that are safe, prosperous and healthy.

Dost Centre for Young Refugees and Migrants | £2,500 | Provide sports sessions, English classes, trips and residentials to young people, aged 13-19 years who are from a refugee seeking background. Grant funds the coach and refreshments. |
Being The Cure | £2,500 | Delivering weekly Saturday clubs for 80-100 young people in Newham to instil kindness and 'heroism' |

Meeli's Social Club | £2,500 | Saturday club held at local library for 12 disabled adults and their carers - offers activities for the adults and respite for the carers. |
Woman's Trust | £2,500 | Helping to deliver counselling services for women in Newham suffering from domestic abuse. |
Bonny Downs Community Association | £2,500 | Grant will purchase kitchen appliances and materials for the Community Kitchen project which will give free access to newham residents 10-1pm pon Friday and Sat to use the kitchen |
The Newham Ability Camp |
£2,400 | To deliver multi sports sessions on a Wednesday evening (run 2 other sessions but they are funded by other funders) at NewVic Sports Hall for 30 disabled young people. Grant covers hall hire and coaches fee. |
