Why we collect your data
We collect your data so that we can identify families who are experiencing difficulties to make sure they receive co-ordinated help and support.
From October 2022, to be eligible for the programme, one or more members of a family must be assessed to need support from services to address at least three of the following outcomes:
- Getting a good education
- Good early years development
- Improved mental and physical health
- Promoting recovery and reducing harm from substance use
- Improved family relationships
- Children safe from abuse and exploitation
- Crime prevention and tacking crime
- Safe from domestic abuse
- Secure housing
- Financial stability
However, if we intend to use information for any other purpose, we will ask you first and make sure we have a lawful basis to do so.
In some cases, the Council may be able to use your information without telling you, for example if there is a risk of serious harm or threat to life.
