The details in this section give locations and contact information for a number of Cemeteries and Crematorium that are not managed by Newham council. These include a selection of venues managed by neighbouring boroughs and private companies and should not be considered exhaustive.
West Ham Cemetery
West Ham Cemetery opened in 1857 and its 22 acre site is still open for visitors and to provide burials.

On bank holidays the cemetery is open from 10am – 3pm.
The cemetery is closed and the gates are locked outside these hours. Please note that the last entry in to the grounds is 15 minutes before closing time.
The cemetery office is open from 9am to 4pm Monday to Friday. For any enquiries please call to arrange an appointment if you wish to be seen in person or email us at westhamcemetery@newham.gov.uk
