If you are aged 50 or over you can get Information and advice on Mondays and Wednesdays between 9am-1pm. Drop in or arrange an appointment by telephoning 020 8503 4800. You can also arrange for a home visit from an adviser. 
 
If you are aged 60 or over, you can get advice on your eligibility for benefit and help with completing claim forms from adviser with the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP). You should phone Age UK Newham on 020 8503 4800 to make an appointment.

Telephone and Internet Advice Services 

The Pension Service

If you are of state pension age, you can get advice on your eligibility for benefit and help with completing claim forms from the Pension Service’s telephone service on 0800 731 7898  or 0800 731 0469 

Civil Legal Advice 

For people who are on a low income such as benefits and want to appeal a social security tribunal's decision. Online personal advice and telephone advice. To check whether you are eligible and to ask for online advice visit the Civil Legal Advice page on .Gov.uk.  

You can call, Monday to Friday 9am to 8pm, Saturday 9am to 12.30pm on 0345 345 4345. 

Royal Association for the Deaf (RAD) 

If you are deaf, you can get information, advice and guidance (provided you are on a low income) in British sign language via RAD online, or email advice@royaldeaf.org.uk or info@royaldeaf.org.uk
