London Community Credit Union, (LCCU) was placed into administration and stopped trading on 22 January 2025.
If you have a savings account with LCCU you do not need to worry or take action. All savings will be returned by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme.
If you send or receive regular payments to your LCCU account e.g. salary, rent, benefits you need to make arrangements to have them paid to an alternative account as soon as possible, as LCCU accounts will be closing soon. If you don’t have an alternative bank account you can find your nearest credit union at www.findyourcreditunion.co.uk.
If you have a loan with LCCU loan terms remain unchanged and you should continue to make repayments as agreed.
