A dangerous structure is one which could cause harm to the public at any time. Weather and wind can often cause a situation or make it worse. Examples of dangerous structures include:
- Loose scaffolding
- Damage caused by fire
- Road traffic accidents, for example where a vehicle has hit a building or garden wall
- Loose roof tiles or chimney pots
- Leaning garden walls.
- We have the power to deal with or remove buildings and structures or the parts of them that are dangerous.
