Adults Social Worker (Neighbourhood & Long-Term Service) – A number of vacancies available

To deliver this vision we are looking for social workers who are passionate about their profession and their ability to use their skills, knowledge and experience to support the people of Newham and the service in achieving its aims.
We are looking for social workers who not only share our vision and approach, but who have excellent assessment, care planning and safeguarding skills, able to work creatively with people to help them articulate and achieve their goals.

If you are a social worker registered with Social Work England, have two years post-qualified experience with a Social Work qualification and want to work in a supportive and dynamic service that provides you with a wide range of opportunity to further develop your practice and career we want to hear from you.

Adult Social Worker (Access Team) – Two vacancies available

We are looking for social workers who have and want to further develop their skills with case work under the Care Act like Court of Protection, Deprivation of Liberty, Safeguarding, promoting independence and Direct Payments, carrying out joint work with NHS, working with residents and carers in the community and building good links with community agencies in the new neighbourhood structure in the Service (Adults). We are looking for social workers who have good assessment and care planning skills and passionate about delivering results and outcomes. You must have 2 years post-qualified experience with a Social Work qualification and registered with Social Work England.

Adult Social Work (Discharge and Assessment Team) – Three vacancies available

We are looking for candidates who are registered Social Workers with the Social Work England and possess post qualifying experience within adult social care. Post not suitable for those newly qualified. You must have excellent working knowledge of relevant legislation including Delayed transfer of care, and social work methods, models and theories.  You must have the ability to sustain a clear performance focus on achieving demanding goals to attain the best possible outcomes. You need to be able to collaborate constructively with internal and external partners to create the conditions for successful partnership working with our health colleagues to manage the demands of acute hospital settings.
